The IT Tech Support Team Lead will learn to oversee and maintain information technology used at Franmar, including our computer network, server, firewall, VOIP system, and Shopify stores, etc. Will conceive of creative and cost-effective solutions to problems.  Analyze infrastructure for ways to increase security, productivity, and efficiency. Monitor and repair equipment, when possible. Work and help negotiate with contracted outside vendors on maintenance agreements. Recommend and purchase new equipment.  Set priorities and initiate needed projects.

Prefferably full time, (or negotiable part time) year round. Some flexibility in schedule and hours, depending on employee’s needs. Some remote work possible.

• Good communication skills, orally and written, in person, by telephone, over email, by text message, etc.

• Good technical ability, able to learn technical skills quickly, even via self-study

• Able and willing to create documentation of technologies in use for informal reference by team members

• Support network of mainly Macs and their peripherals

• Support of other technologies, such as iPads, A/V, limited support for VOIP, etc. 

• Help with purchasing decisions for computers, software, and various other tech equipment

• Interested in learning Web site support

• Full-time, (or possibly part-time), Mon thru Fri, daytimes, year round, flexible schedule. Some remote work possible.

• Some college background desirable

• Tech experience desirable

• Network support experience a plus

• Experience with build/repair of own computers/peripherals desirable

• Familiarity with HTML, Web development a plus

• Graphic arts experience a plus

Warehouse Production Team Member

Franmar, Inc. is a 35 year old, family owned manufacturer of specialty products for industrial, commercial, and retail markets. Our focus is primarily on safer, green solvent alternatives for various industrial and construction/remodeling purposes.  We are currently looking for a full time member for our  warehouse production team.  The new employee will be on a first name basis with management and owners, and will be an integral part of our growth, as we provide safer, greener, cost effective “solutions” to workers across the US and around the world.

• Help to blend and package our various products

• Assist our LTL and UPS shipping staff with shipping as needed

• Assist with building and grounds maintenance

• Help to maintain a safe and friendly work environment

• Ability to rise to the occasion and help with other needs as they arise

• Mon-Fri daytimes, some flexibility in scheduling

• Forklift experience a plus, Worldship experience a plus
